Radiokeys members Emily and Stewart are finally back to recording in their beloved St. Helena kitchen space to discuss two of the most important concert moments in Rock 'n' Roll history!
Stewart starts by describing Nirvana's meteoric rise to fame culminating in one of the most poignant live concerts of all time: Nirvana's MTV Unplugged in New York. He talks about the rise of Seattle's grunge scene and the death of 80's metal, cultural responses to the band, events leading up to "Unplugged", and how Kurt's death affected the perception of the album.
Emily plunges into the events surrounding Bob Dylan plugging into a new, electric sound and the famous concert that rattled its audience in one way or another. She dives into Dylan's frenetic rate of releasing music, his move to New York, the Newport Folk Festival, and fan reaction.
