The Rock ‘n’ Roll Review - Episode 14 - The Deslondes
Monday Jan 28, 2019
Monday Jan 28, 2019
Radiokeys members Stewart and Emily sit around on a lazy Sunday night to discuss the unique brand of Americana from the New Orleans based band, the Deslondes! Em and Stew also talk about the house on Deslonde street that helps to inspire the band and their community, the affect southern dance culture has on the band's songwriting, how Stew traded Sam Doores a beer for an early Tumbleweeds demo, and as always, they break down and play a few of their favorite tunes!
They also get to talking on how hard it is to break down modern bands into traditional genres, booking agents at music venues, The Growlers and their almost cult-like following, how different performance settings can dictate the success of certain artists, how today's street performers can be tomorrow's mega-stars, and some exciting Radiokeys news!
